2020 is bringing a lot of changes:  a new year,  a new decade, and in Nashville, 2020 is bringing a lot of new development!

Here are our picks for the ones to watch in 2020:

Fifth + Broad Development

At the corner of 5th Avenue and Broadway sits a construction site that will be downtown Nashville's most unique mixed-use development to date. Named after its location, Fifth + Broad will feature restaurants, shopping, office space and apartments at the site of the old convention center. The highly anticipated “food hall” has garnered a lot of attention as some of Nashville’s favorites have signed on. Prince’s Hot Chicken, Von Elrod’s, The Pharmacy, and The Dog + Donut are a few of the local restaurants to have a presence inside the massive food hall. The Place at Fifth + Broad will be over 30 stories high, featuring luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments and is set to open in Spring of 2020!

 

1200 Broadway (The Gulch)

This highly anticipated 26-story mixed-use tower will feature 313 apartments, a “sky lounge” on level 26 and ground-level retail; anchored by a Whole Foods retailer. Located in The Gulch, these high-rise apartment homes are available for lease now with the retail space, office space, and the Whole Foods scheduled to open in early-to-mid 2020. Apartment residents will also have access to a sky lounge on level 26, as well as luxury amenities including a fitness center, an indoor-outdoor club lounge with a professional kitchen, an outdoor pool, fire pits, barbecue grills, a dog park, a dog wash and a 24/7 concierge.

Broadstone Stockyard

Broadstone Stockyard (Germantown)

The Broadstone Stockyards site is located a few blocks south of Germantown and adjacent to First Tennessee Park. The project will yield 342 units, mixed-use commercial space, and two new buildings connected by a pedestrian bridge. An additional 6,000 square-feet of the original building will be updated to hold project amenities such a lounge area in the refurbished entry rotunda, a pool and cabana entertainment deck, fitness rooms, pet and bike facilities, and a “new take on the so-called Bullpen Lounge, which will include a bar area and vintage arcade games. The project has a tentative opening date of late 2020.
