1) The GLOW Nashville: Nashville’s Brightest Christmas Experience

The Glow is all-new to Nashville this year, which is why it tops our list! This brand new Nashville experience is taking over First Tennessee Park and will include one of the country’s tallest Christmas trees and more than 4 MILLION lights! It also features a custom-built ice skating rink, a life-size Santa’s workshop, a holiday workshop and more! This attraction is for all ages.

2) Holiday LIGHTS at Cheekwood

Holiday LIGHTS at Cheekwood is back again for the fifth year with a one-mile-long path featuring over a million twinkling lights. Pinnacles of Light, an outdoor display showcasing 17 custom-made LED trees with programmed lights, is new this year. There will also be real reindeer, s’mores pits, holiday carolers, Santa, gingerbread workshops, and cash bars with wine, beer, and hot chocolate. The Mansion will be decorated, so be sure to check it out while you’re there.

3) Zoolumination: Chinese Festival of Lights

Join the Nashville Zoo for the country's largest Chinese lantern festival. Zoolumination: Chinese Festival of Lights features more than 500 custom-made silk lanterns spread across 60 acres, creating elaborate displays with some of your favorite Zoo animals, holiday-themed scenes and even a 200-foot-long dragon! Chinese artists have recreated zoo animals in great detail and at actual size and some lanterns are the size of four-story buildings. Chinese artists have recreated zoo animals in great detail and at actual size, including elephants, rhinos, giraffe and dozens of others. Themed animal and flower scenes will be spread throughout the Zoo, along with towering traditional Chinese lantern scenes.Chinese acrobats and entertainers will perform nightly. Hand-made crafts and delicious menu items will be available each night for guests to enjoy.  

4) Nordic Winter Village at The Bobby Hotel

The heated igloos on Bobby Hotel’s rooftop are back again in 2019, and they’ve stepped things up a notch. This year, the theme is “Nordic Winter Village,” which is open now. Whether you’re cozying up in a cabin for a double-date or gathering the whole crew for a private igloo dinner, there’s enough spiked hot chocolate to go around. The rooftop features heated igloos, two cedar cabins, bonfires, sherpa blankets, winter foliage and decor, cozy blankets, rugs, and festive menu items.

5) Gaylord Opryland Resort’s A Country Christmas

It’s a local holiday classic for a reason. Over three million lights turn the Opryland Hotel & Resort into a magical destination. You can visit Opryland for free any day between November & January 1st just to see the interior and exterior lights. There are also Carriage rides, ice skating, and ice tubing. The hotel is also home to ICE!® featuring A Christmas Story, an interactive indoor winter wonderland featuring: Hand-carved scenes from the beloved holiday movie classic!
